ANOTHER WEIGH-IN, ANOTHER DOG PIC...

Welcome to WEIGH-IN WEEK TWO!!! I know in my last blog post I promised I would be posting two blog posts a week... and I totally intended on it... but life happened and I wasn't able to get it done.  So my apologies.  I will try to better.  OKAY so, far starters, a quick reminder that going into this past week, I didn't really do anything to change any habits in our home, as I wanted to get a couple weeks of garbage weighted to get some sort of an idea of an average weekly trash.

This weeks weigh-in was done on Thursday 10/17/19.  At the bottom of this post I posted a couple pictures again... it didn't look all that much different size wise than last week and it was pretty close weight wise.  My recycling totaled 31.2 pounds (slightly up from last week) and my total garbage was 5.2 pounds (lower than last week).  This totaled 18.4 pounds, which was just a bit below last weeks total of 21.35.  So using the averages of this weeks and last weeks weigh-ins... I'm looking at an average of about 19.9 pounds a week - 12.9 of it recycling and 7.0 of it in garbage.  Going forward these will be the numbers I will trying to reduce each week.

Last week I also mentioned that I would be attempting to weigh our pee pad usage separately.  I think I mostly was able to do this.  The weight of the pee pads was 2.2 (out of 5.2 pounds), so a bit less than half of our total non-recyclable garbage.  Last week I introduced you to my Riley baby girl... here's her twin sister, Sammie (and her lambie)...
Please check in later this week for another blog post!!! I definitely want to talk to ya'll about recycling in my city and also about a couple of things I'm forcing my household to give up to try to even slightly reduce our waste! And here are those sexxxy trash pictures I promised!
